Your talents and gifts are needed in many aspects of the Boerne Community Theatre. Currently we are looking for assistance in the areas of Float coordination, costume show assistance, stage production. set construction, ushers and concessions, box office and sound and light operators. We welcome your participation and assistance in any and all of these areas.

Backstage

Prefer to volunteer behind the scenes? Take a look below to see the areas we need assistance in.

Set Construction

Do you like to swing a hammer, use a power drill or paint? We need seasoned professionals down to not-so-gifted amateurs who are willing to learn to help us get our sets built. We also need scenic painters who can do faux finishes and/or murals!

Costume Shop Assistance / Sewing

Our Costume Supervisor needs help with organization, inventory, maintenance, acquisition & sewing. If you can do any or all of these things, we would love to have your assistance!

We’re always looking for “techies” who would rather be in the booth than on stage. No experience necessary.

Float Decoration & Riders

We participate in the Berges Fest, Kendall County Fair and Weinacht’s (Christmas) Parades. We need decorators and riders. Come help – it’s a great chance to meet and have fun with other BCT volunteers!

Stage Managers/ Stage Crew

We need stage managers every show to keep our actors organized and on cue. We also need stage crew to assist the stage manager for larger shows! No experience necessary – we’ll train!

Do you enjoy being front and center? Take a look below to see the areas we need assistance in.

Concessions & Ushers

Show patrons to their seats before the show, then help with coffee, sodas, water & Bear Moon Bakery cookies at intermission. If you are unable to usher, we’ll pair you up with someone who can!
